MEC provides electric service to approximately 11,600 meters in nine Missouri counties (Adair, Chariton, Knox, Linn, Macon, Monroe, Randolph, Shelby and Sullivan). We also provide a variety of services to our membership including energy efficiency rebates, energy audits, youth programs, and much more. We provide electric safety demonstrations to local schools and first responders in our communities. We offer economic development grants and incentives through USDA's REDLG program, our personal revolving loan fund, and Associated Electric's Power4Progress program.
