Kaysinger Basin Regional Planning Commission is a quasi-governmental agency serving as the liaison between local government and State and Federal Agencies. Our organization serves the 7 counties of: Bates, Benton, Cedar, Henry, Hickory, St. Clair and Vernon, as well as the communities within those counties. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for the residents of our region by connecting communities to opportunities. The professional staff offers technical assistance and services such as: grant writing and administration, transportation planning, economic development planning, environmental assessments, and many other services to member counties and cities.
Serving Camden, Laclede, Miller and Morgan counties, working together to help provide the necessary resources to help build strong communities within our region. Lake of the Ozarks Council of Local Governments has a number of State and Federal planning partners we work with on a regular basis to develop regional goals and priorities in regard to economic development, transportation, disaster and recovery planning and environmental planning.
McClure believes in the process of Creative Placemaking to help rural communities achieve economic development and population growth through cultural and entrepreneurial amenities, concepts, and catalytic projects. McClure’s goal is to identify community needs, address challenges, and provide a comprehensive package, engaging partner consultants when and where their expertise is needed. To date, the placemaking team has designed amenities such as cultural centers, breweries, restaurants, area-wide beautification strategies, professional incentive programs, theaters, makerspaces, co‑working spaces, residency programs, and aquatic facilities, among others.
Formed in 1969, MRPC is a voluntary council of governments serving Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Maries, Osage, Phelps, Pulaski and Washington counties and their respective cities. A professional staff, directed by the MRPC board, offers technical assistance and services, such as grant preparation and administration, housing assistance, transportation planning, ordinance codification, business loans and other services to member counties and cities.
The Missouri Division of Tourism (MDT) is the marketing and operating arm of the Missouri Tourism Commission. MDT's mission is to promote Missouri as a leading tourism destination, thereby increasing both visitation and the spending generated by visitors. As part of its efforts, MDT administers a Cooperative Marketing Program that provides matching funds to qualified, tourism-related organizations to assist in their overall marketing efforts. Organizations must meet very specific criteria to qualify.
The Missouri Development Finance Board provides financing for infrastructure, community and economic development projects statewide. Funding can be for capital costs associated with facility construction and renovation. Funding is made available through the issuance of conduit revenue bonds, direct loans, or tax credits for contributions made to the Board. All debt provided by the Board funded from bonds or loans must be adequately secured by the borrower.

USDA - Rural Development is a community and economic development agency. We offer housing programs, community programs, business programs, utility programs and cooperative programs. We deliver these programs through loans, loan guarantees and grants. We provide technical assistance in the areas of business, industry, community, economic and cooperative development along with rural housing, community facilities, water and waste water disposal, electrification and telecommunications, including distance learning, broadband and telemedicine.
